Project Details / 1790 Square Foot Three-Bedroom Upper East Side Renovation
Originally designed by Rosario Candela in 1938, this prewar apartment remained untouched since the 1960s. A re-imagined layout created a three bedroom, three bath pied-à-terre for an art-loving family with grown children. The apartment features bold details that nod to its history, such as classic moldings and sweeps of curving plaster, combined with custom millwork, unique finishes, and innovative lighting that contemporize the space for a modern age.
